Brenda Molife, Ph.D., Vice President of Outreach and Engagement at Bridgewater State University, has been named Interim President at Massasoit Community College.
With 19 years of experience at Bridgewater State University, the region’s largest comprehensive four-year university, Dr. Molife served in a variety of roles prior to coming to Massasoit. These roles have included faculty member and department chair; acting dean in both the colleges of humanities and social sciences and business; executive assistant and chief of staff to the President; and Vice President for University Advancement and Executive Director for the Bridgewater State University Foundation. In her role as Vice President for Outreach and Engagement, Dr. Molife served as a member of the President’s cabinet and lead Bridgewater’s internship and career services offices, the office of Regional Partnerships, and University & Community Partnerships.
Dr. Molife has served in the role of Interim President until a permanent replacement was appointed and approved by the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education in 2021.
