The library is here for you and your students. Here are some of the services we offer.

We have libraries at both the Brockton (Student Center, top floor) and Canton (third floor) campuses. Stop by any time, but if you let us know you are coming, we will treat you to coffee! Meet with Rachel   Meet with Madge

Instructors, we are here to support your class assignments. We teach library research sessions in-person or in Zoom, and will gear the session towards a specific assignment. Interested in more of a general orientation? We will introduce the students to the resources available to them, from study space to journal articles.

Interested in teaching your students how to evaluate the onslaught of online information they are exposed to? We can teach a Civic Online Reasoning (COR) session. In a COR session, your students will learn how to evaluate the quality of information using the same methods that professional fact-checkers use.

Course Reserves: The library holds textbooks for your students to use in the library for two hours. If you are wondering if we already have a specific textbook available on reserve, let me know and I will check for you. We are also able to scan chapters for your students to access, as long as you provide the textbook and some lead time.
