Technology Loan Program

For: 
  • Active students who are enrolled in a course 
  • One semester at a time

Program Details

Massasoit Community College provides the following technology to assist you as you complete your courses:

  • For: various math classes 
  • Semester Cost: $20
  • Lost/Replacement Fee: up to $150

 computer iconChromebook Computers

  • For: most online courses
  • Semester Cost: None
  • Lost/Replacement Fee: up to $800

wifi icon Hotspot

  • For: Internet Access via the cellular network
  • Semester Cost: None
  • Lost/Replacement Fee: up to $100

     Windows Laptop

  • For: most online courses
  • Semester cost: None
  • Lost/Replacement fee: up to $1,200
   Any rental or replacement fees for any item will be charged to your student bill. Both the item and the charging cord must be returned to avoid a replacement fee. 
   All pickups take place at the Brockton campus library and are by appointment only.

Appointments for Pickup

Make an appointment to pickup your item. You will use your Massasoit Exchange address to access this form. (username@massasoit.mass.edu)

 Choose your location for pickup. 

note: all devices are stored in Brockton. If you choose a Canton pickup, please allow two days for device transfer

Follow the instructions in the confirmation email for where to park and where the library is.

  If it is difficult for you to make an appointment online, please call the library at  508-588-9100 x1941.

Emergency Laptop Use for Students

 computer iconThe Brockton library has a limited number of laptops available for same-day, emergency use:

  • These devices must stay on campus and must be returned to the library prior to closing. 
  • Devices are available at the library front desk and can be checked out on the fly; you do not need an appointment. 
  • A current ID and a signed loan agreement are required.
