The AAPI COVID-19 Project
The AAPI COVID-19 Project is a collective research study housed at Harvard University’s Department of Sociology that brings together faculty & graduate researchers across several research and teaching institutions in the United States. This investigation will examine the ongoing COVID-19 crisis as it shapes the lives of Asians, Asian Americans, and Pacific Islanders in the United States, particularly focusing on multiple layers of harm—the virus itself and the intensification of racism and xenophobia that this demographic has endured in its wake.
