Glass Castle Contests

This semester, the One Book, One College Program is promoting the book The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, a coming-of-age story. In praise of the author’s struggles in raising herself and her siblings, the One Book Program is offering two contests. A gift certificate to our MCC bookstore will be awarded for the best written entry - essay, short story, or poem that exemplifies her resilience. Another certificate will be awarded for the best photography representing the themes of The Glass Castle.
