Canvas is the Learning Management System used here at Massasoit Community College. It is used to connect instructors and students both in and out of the classroom and includes functionality for managing enrollments, sharing documents, submitting assignments, and assigning grades.
Canvas is available as an app for iOS and Android. Most of the functionality that is in the desktop version is available in the app version, but not all.
Download and install the Canvas app from the App Store / Google Play. Installation and login may be done both on and off campus. To log in for the first time, open the app and then...
|1. When you open the app, you should see a screen
that asks you to find your school.
|2. Start to type massasoit. Select Massasoit Community College
when it appears in the list.
|3. Now you are ready to log in! Enter your MyMassasoit
username and password. These are the same credentials
you use to log in to the portal.
|4. Check off the Remember Authorization box (optional)
and click the Authorize button. Now you are ready to go!
